12/12/2009  Backbone Campaign has received a $50,000 grant from the Nathan Cummings Foundation to co-produce 7 regional Artful Activism Summits in 2010. (YEAH! - Thanks NCF!) We now will be able to bring artists and trainers to help YOUR local campaigns. These festive summits will result in spectacle tools like giant puppets, banners and props that will remain with the lucky seven host communities/organizations/campuses in order to support their ongoing work and eventual victory! *IMPORTANT* IF you would like to apply to host an Artful Activism Summit in your area, PLEASE contact our office ASAP.
