Synopsis:
Dr. Ravi Batra has predicted many things in his life including the fall of the Soviet Union before the year 2000, the Iranian revolution and theocratic rule, and the stock market crash of 1987. Despite some faulty predictions in the interim, in his recent book The New Golden Age he predicted much of what we see happening in the economy today and the collapse of the dollar by the end of next year.

As a professor of economics at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, he has spent more than 30 years analyzing cyclical political, social and economic trends. In his latest book The New Golden Age he predicts that public disgust with official corruption will overthrow the current United States Business Empire.
